Wedding Reception at the Monte Carlo Casino and Resort Las Vegas

VegasDeeJay.Com was contacted about being the Dj at their wedding reception at the Mirage Hotel and Casino a few months ago. I told the bride I was available for the wedding reception. She was extremely happy since she had been referred to me from one of my previous clients. The service agreement was e-mailed and the date confirmed.

As the week before the Las Vegas wedding approached, the bride still had not sent back the agenda information.  I called and e-mailed her.  She said the place of the reception had changed and would be at the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas, instead of the Mirage.  In this business, follow up and constant contact with the client is an absolute must!  It would have been a disaster if I showed up at the Mirage.

Arriving at the Monte Carlo, the staff was very helpful in directing me to the correct room and the preferred location to setup up my gear. The room bartender was very friendly and the room captain was extremely professional. As the time for the reception rolled around,  no bridal party or guests were to be seen.  After waiting for an hour and a half, the bridal party finally arrived.

Most people were from out of town. They were hungry and tired. Fighting traffic and tons of tourists on the way from the Little Chapel of the West to the Monte Carlo is always challenging.  And of course, the large resort casinos always have a parking garage that's about 1/2 mile walk from the banquet rooms!

Immediately, I put everyone at ease and invited them to eat and drink.  The bride and groom did all the traditional things: first dance, parent dances, garter toss, etc.   I had the dance floor packed the rest of the night playing the group dances that people love so much, as well as lot's of top 40 and plenty of disco for the older crowd. I got plenty of compliments.  But more importantly, the bride and groom were extremely satisfied and will have nothing but wonderful memories of their Las Vegas wedding reception. As a Las Vegas DJ, I will highly recommend the Monte Carlo in Las Vegas.
